A Self Care Workshop

“MSW Does Not Mean ‘Must Save the World!’” is a highly interactive workshop that focuses on the self-care needs of social workers and other helping professionals. This workshop examines self-care as the cornerstone of sound clinical practice, and its basic premise is that we will only be able to work effectively with our clients to the extent that we are able to take care of ourselves. Participants will examine their own beliefs, practices and self-care needs in a safe, supportive environment and learn ways to help clients practice better self-care. This workshop includes guided meditation, “movement  therapy,” and a closing ritual.”
